WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Fifty-nine Purdue student-athletes received Academic All Big-Ten honors, as announced today by the conference office. The honorees came from eight spring sports: baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.

The women's track and field team led the way with 16 honorees.

A total of 944 Big Ten student-athletes were recognized for their hard work on the field and in the classroom. The student-athletes met the criteria of being at least a second-year student and carrying a minimum grade-point average of 3.0.
